David Jacques-Louis was born of a merchant family in Paris August 30 1748.David decided a career as an artist. David a young painter using both his uncle, his aunt Marie-Josephe, and his cousin as a model. In the 1766-1774 David studied at the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture, at the Vein's class.
